Rumors surrounding Mora's exit have circulated, including allegations of a physical altercation with another contestant and a romantic rendezvous with her boyfriend. However, Mora's boyfriend has denied these claims.
Cesar Rodriguez, the national director for Miss Universe Panama, also addressed the situation, urging the public to refrain from judgment and attacks against Mora. He declined to disclose the specific reasons for her withdrawal, citing privacy concerns.
The Miss Universe Organization confirmed Mora's withdrawal in a statement, citing a decision made by the pageant's disciplinary committee. The organization emphasized its commitment to upholding the integrity and values of the pageant.
With Mora's exit, the number of contestants vying for the Miss Universe 2024 crown has been reduced to 120. The pageant is scheduled to take place in Mexico City on November 16th (November 17th, Manila time).
