Buenos Aires, Argentina - Argentine authorities have made an arrest in connection with the tragic death of British singer Liam Payne. Braian Paiz, 24, was detained on Friday under suspicion of supplying cocaine to Payne prior to the singer's fatal fall from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony in October.
Payne, 31, a former member of the globally renowned boy band One Direction, was found dead after falling from the third floor of the Casa Sur Hotel. Prosecutors revealed that a combination of cocaine, alcohol, and prescription antidepressants were found in his system.
Paiz is one of five individuals facing charges related to Payne's death. Three are accused of manslaughter, while Paiz and another individual are charged with supplying illegal drugs.
