Seoul, South Korea - Get ready for a new dimension in home entertainment. Samsung Electronics announced Friday that it will unveil a groundbreaking television featuring "Eclipsa Audio," a revolutionary 3D audio technology developed in partnership with Google, at the upcoming CES 2025 in Las Vegas.
This cutting-edge technology promises to redefine immersive audio experiences by dynamically adjusting sound data like location, intensity, and spatial reflections. Eclipsa Audio is based on the Immersive Audio Model and Formats, a standard adopted by the Alliance for Open Media (AOM), which includes both Samsung and Google.
Samsung is taking the lead by being the first to implement this technology across its entire 2025 TV lineup, from the Crystal UHD series to the premium Neo QLED 8K models. Imagine experiencing YouTube videos with a whole new level of audio depth and realism!
