FACEBOOK opens Manila office

World's famous social networking giant Facebook launched its Philippine office. Facebook Vice President for Asia Pacific Dan Neary announced in his official account that Facebook has opened its first office in the Philippines on Thursday.


Facebook says it sees" strong momentum" in the Philippines with more than 49 million Filipinos on Facebook, 44 million of whom access the social network on mobile.

He added that the Philippines is a highly engaged mobile-first nation filled with people who are creative, entrepreneurial and have a strong sense of community.

"Filipinos have been sharing the unique moments that matter on Facebook with their friends and family, be it life milestones or a trending video," he added.
