INC to announce support to Mayor Rodrigo DU30

One of the largest religious group in the country Iglesia ni Cristo(INC) is rumored to announce soon its support for PDP-Laban presidential bet Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and his running mate Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano.

" We are choosing the right candidate, we are looking at their background and performance, we do not support any corrupt candidate" said one member.

Other members of the INC are rumored in giving there support to Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, others told that Mayor Duterte has the biggest chance to catch the support of the group because of his very satisfactory track record.



The rumored bloc vote of 1.7 - 2 million members of Iglesia ni Cristo is a big for those candidates of 2016 national election.

On the record, the INC has endorsed the past three winning presidential candidates , Benigno Aquino III, Joseph Estrada, and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Since the elder Manalo died last year, his son Eduardo Manalo has led the secretive, highly disciplined religious group founded by his grandfather Felix in 1914.

The INC is expected to announce its Presidential bets for the national posts before the May 9 national and local election.
