It was a truly fantastic fight as Manny Pacquiao knocked rival Timothy Bradley Jr. down twice, in the seventh and ninth rounds which leads to a unanimous decision in their welterweight fight Saturday night at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas.
"I was looking for knockout in every round, "Pacquiao said." He's very tough fighter and a very good counterpuncher. Bradley is a good boxer, a great fighter and a good man. It was not easy tonight but my right shoulder was fine.It gave me no problems."
"Manny was strong in there. Very heavy punches. He was also very patient," said Bradley, who has won five world titles in two weight classes." I wasn't professional enough to stay patient myself and I walked into shots."
The victory is probably fair, despite Bradley excelling in the early rounds. However Pacman came back in the final time and storming back, knocking Timothy.The fight goes to the scorecards and surely Manny has got this one, producing one of his best performance in recent years. The Filipino's final flourish is greeted by huge cheer from the crowd.
