Rain or Shine Elasto Painters clinched the 2016 PBA Commissioner's Cup championship against Alaska Aces on Wednesday, May 18 with a 109-92 victory.
It's a perfect comeback of Paul Lee after suffering from left knee injury the whole season, Lee also faced doubts whether he could still return back to game.
Rain or Shine just proved that with the team in strength, it is definitely one of the league's forces to be reckoned with. MVP award was given to Paul Lee, "Kauna-unahan ko ito na natapos ko talaga," "Ibang klase 'yung nangyari sa akin. Perfect comebak. Lahat lumabas. The achievement was extra special for the combo guard, who had to endure four runner-up finishes in the last three season.
