The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder ended with one last memorable battle. The Warriors had spent the previous 3 games on the verge of elimination, putting the two best players Stephen Curry versus Kevin Durant on a brilliant shot making display in the final minutes of the NBA Finals.
Ended, it was Curry and the Warriors who prevailed during a 96-88 victory in a breathless Game 7 of the Western Conference finals Monday night at Oracle Arena.
Only nine teams in NBA history have successfully come back from a 3-1 deficit. The most recent team to do so was last year's Houston Rockets, who came back to beat Los Angeles Clippers.
