The Philippines finished the round robin at 4-0 while Thailand closed it at 3-1, setting up rematch between the two teams in the final round. Both teams,though,already qualified for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge by virtue of finishing in the top two.
Team captain Troy Rosario shared 20 points and 10 rebounds in a huge performance while Mac Belo added 18 points, seven rebounds and four block to lead the Filipinos.
