As it happened Cavaliers won Game 7 of the NBA Finals, beating Golden State Warriors in a dramatic back-and-forth affair, 93-89. James fulfilled his promise in-all-time-great fashion with a triple-double consisting of 27 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds. Kyrie Irving drilled the biggest shot of the game, a three-pointer in the final minute, to break an 89-89 tie, finishing 26 points.
James scored 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, after taking 41 points in Game 5 and 6.It was the third Game 7 triple-double in NBA history. After leaving Cleveland for the Miami Heat in 2010 and winning two titles, James returned to Cavaliers in 2014 to deliver a title to the Ohio city that hadn't seen a championship in any major sports since the Cleveland Browns won the 1964 NFL Championship.
