Due to tropical depression Ambo, local government units have announced the suspension of classes for Monday, June 27.Classes are suspended in following areas:
* Baler, Aurora: Pre-Schoolto high school (both private and public)
*Catanduanes province: Pre-School
* Naga City, Camarines Sur: Pre-school
According to the weather bulletin by Pag-asa at 5PM, Ambo is now moving at 22 kms per hour(kph) in a west northwest direction. It packs maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center and is located 140 kms northwest of Virac, Catanduanes.
With its current speed, it may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Tuesday. It is also expected that the tropical depression may weaken once it hits land in Aurora Monday morning.
