The last minute change came following the announcement of Duterte's executive assistant Cristopher Go that the incoming Chief Executive would no longer hold press conference.
Only the state-owned television network PTV4 and the Radio television Malacanang (RTVM) were allowed to cover the event, dubbed as "DU31: One Love, One Nation Thanksgiving Party."
Around 586 artists are expected to perform on Duterte's victory party,
the 12-hour party was dubbed as "DU31: One Love, One Nation Thanksgiving
Party" to be held in sprawling Crocodile Park on June 4.
Arnel ignacio and Kate Castro will host the said event.
Among those expected artist to perform are: Vice Ganda, Jimmy Bondoc, Gladys Guevarra, Carlos Agassi, Ivy Violan, Bernardo Bernardo, Mark Mabasa, Isabel Granada, KZ Tandingan, Andrew E and many others.
It is expected the tighter security during the event, police will be reinforced by personnel from military's Task Force Davao and volunteers from the city's barangay's, Driz said to CNN Philippines.
