DOJ issued lookout bulletin to De Lima, 5 others

Manila, Philippines - The justice department has ordered the issuance of a lookout bulletin for Senator Leila de Lima and five others, Monday,October 10.

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aquirre II issued the extremely urgent order to the immigration commissioner Jaime Morente and NBI chief Dante Gierran for them to monitor. 

The lookout bulletin order is issued atleast to monitor the itineraries of a person's travel or whereabouts. The person subject of an LBO is allowed to travel only with the permission from the Deparrtment of Justice(DOJ).

Aside from De Lima, the justice department also issued a lookout bulletin to former justice undersecretary Francisco Baraan III, Former New Bilibid Prison chief Franklin Jesus Bucayo,Former Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Executive Director Reginald Villasanta,Former security aide Joenel Sanchez,Former De Lima driver Ronnie Dayan.
Aguirre directed Morente to ensure that De Lima and the five others “shall not be allowed to leave the country without corresponding travel authority from their heads of offices.”

He also directed the Bureau on Immigration (BI) to coordinate with other concerned agencies and offices, and even airline companies since international passengers are customarily required to check-in within a specified number of hours before flight.

“They are allegedly involved in the proliferation and trade of illegal drugs” in the NBP and other areas, Aguirre wrote in his order dated October 7, as quoted by DZMM.
