Russia unveils supper Nuke missile RS-28 that can wipe out New York

The biggest nuclear missile in the world has revealed by Russi, the RS-28 Sarmat super-missile. It said to be the powerful nuke ever made by Russia which is said enough to destroy New York state with single blast.

RS-28 Sarmat is the replacement to the country's ageing arsenal of SS-18 Satan weapons, which were originally commissioned by the USSR in 1974. The new weapon will come with up to 16 nuclear warheads according to the report by the Indepedent.

The missile will go into service in 2018. The Sarmat is undergoing development at the Makeyev Rocket Design Bureau in the city of Miass.

“In accordance with the Decree of the Russian Government 'On the State Defense Order for 2010 and the planning period 2012-2013,' the Makeyev Rocket Design Bureau was instructed to start design and development work on the Sarmat. In June 2011, the Bureau and the Russian Ministry of Defense signed a state contract for the Sarmat's development,” reads the note on the bureau's website.

Earlier Moscow has launched a three-day exercise run by the Ministry for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disaters(EMERCOM) involved the participation of 200,00 emergency personnel and 40m Russian civilians in preparation for the possible Nuclear attack from West.

"The drill will rehearse radiation, chemical and biological protection of the personnel and population during emergencies at crucial and potentially dangerous facilities.

"Fire safety, civil defence and human protection at social institutions and public buildings are also planned to be checked.

"Response units will deploy radiation, chemical and biological monitoring centers and sanitation posts at the emergency areas, while laboratory control networks are going to be put on standby."
