Atleast 17 people died in the collapse building in India

The death toll rises in a building that collapse in Wester India City of Mumbai rose to 17 on Wednesday, fire department said after declaring fired out. Rescue workers continued to search for survivors at the site where the five-story building collapse.

Atleast 28 survivors have so far been pulled out from the rubble of Tuesday disaster. The four-storey residential building was located in the suburb of Ghatkopar. 

Report said that part of the building was used as a nursing home but it was being renovated at the time. The owner of the nursing home has been arrested for allegedly making some structural changes.

Authorities is investigating the incidents that causes fatalities and injuries.
