Bagyong Gorio Update, News Advisory

Philippine weather bureau PAGASA warned residents of parts of Luzon to brace for more rain, as Tropical Gorio(Nesat) intensify. Even though Gorio won't directly hit the Philippine soil, it will cause monsoon rain to become heavier than usual.

National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council(NDRRMC) bulletin report at 3:00AM July 26, 2017, the center of Tropical Depression "Gorio" was estimated based on all available data at 440 km Northeast of Borongan City, Easter Samar (14.5 deg 128.2 deg. East) with maximum sustained winds of 60 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 75 kph. It is forecasted to move North Northwest at 15 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting the Western Section of Luzon and Visayas.
