An amazing story of a Grade 5 pupil from General Santos City has recently gone viral online. Kervy James Villarejo, a grade 5 student at Jose Catolico Sr. Elementary School bravely went to an office in the city to apply for a cleaning job so that he could earn money for school fees.
According to Chriszel Singco Vicente the netizen who posted the video in her Facebook account, Kervy went to their office at Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation GenSan Branch to apply as a sweeper or a cleaner of the office. Out of curiosity Chriszel asked the boy why he wanted to apply for a job, Kervy replied and he said that he needs to earn money to pay for a school project, thus he is willing to do any jobs.
Kervy is the eldest of the four siblings and he is living with his aunt. Kervy is very determined to finished his school and dream to be a pilot someday.
