China's Army Day parade on Sunday highlights the country's military capabilities and a show of power to the world. Chinese President Xi Jinping is also present in the military parade marking the 90th anniversary of the founding of the ChinesePeoples's Liberation Army (PLA).
The military parade were hold at Zhurihe training base in the northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Xi delivered a keynote speech urging further improvement of the PLA's combat effectiveness and modernization of China's national defense.
"The parade conveyed a clear message to the outside world that China is militarily prepared for any case with a resolution to safeguard peace," said Shi, who is also an adjunct senior research fellow at the Energy Studies Institute, National University of Singapore.
The parade ends on a high note as the strategic strike group comes for President Xi Jinping‘s inspection. Dongfeng-26 ballistic missiles, Dongfeng-21D land-based anti-ship ballistic missiles, Dongfeng-16G conventional missiles put on an inspiring show for the world.
