#PhilippineEarthquake: Class Suspension due to 6.3 magnitude quake in Luzon

Manila, Philippines - A 6.3 magnitude earthquake shook Lian town Nasugbu Batangas and other areas in Luzon Friday afternoon, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) announced.

The quake was tectonic in origin or a movement in the Earth's crust with a depth of 160 kilometers. Aftershock are expected.

Affected Areas:

Intensity IV - Calapan, Mindoro, Subic, Zambales, Rosario, Cavite, Manila, Occidental Mindoro

Intensity III - Laguna, Bulacan, Calamba, Rizal, Cainta, Pateros City, Quezon City, Makati City, Malolos

Intensity I -Talisay, Batangas

Authorities evacuated people from buildings to find a safe zone, several classes and offices suspends classes and works.
