Manila, Philippines - Due to heavy downpour of rain brought by the southwest monsoon, has caused floods and suspension of classes in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) continued to monitor Typhoon Noru, which remains outside the Philippine area of responsibility. The department said that Noru enhances the southwest monsoon, which is expected to last until tomorrow.
