Florida evacuates millions ahead of Irma

Maximum power Hurricane Irma had devastated Cuba and Bahamas as it headed towards Florida on Saturday were it reported to the most powerful hurricane in history of U.S, killing at least 23 people and leaving the most catastrophic destruction.

Late Friday night Irma landed in Cuba, bringing its maximum intensity as a category 5 storm bringing 160 mph (260 kph) winds. Report said that atleast 5.6 million people were told to evacuate from Florida - more than one-fourth of the state populations.
Update about Irma:

Hurricane and storm surge warnings were issued late Thursday for South Florida as Hurricane Irma advanced westward in the Caribbean, with a northward turn toward Florida.
