Manila, Philippines - A fire broke out today at the roof deck of a construction site in Newport City at around 3:33PM.
The Pasay City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Newport City Fire Brigade were immediately notified and promptly arrived on the scene. The command center was activated. BFP declared fire out at 4:20PM. No injuries have been reported.

Property damage was limited to the newly installed cooling tower.
Investigation is still on-going as to the cause of the fire. Operations in Newport City remain unaffected.
