Top models from around the world are headed to the Philippines this November 2017, were the country's tropical place are used to showcase in a wildly popular Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit Issue 2018, the businessmirror reported.
The Department of Tourism(DOT) said that the search and photo shoot will take around three weeks and will be joining 18 candidates. The top choices destinations for the photo shoots are Siargao, Surigao del Norte ans Subic Beach in Sorsogon. Siargao is the country's surfing capital, while Subic Beach is famous on its pink sand.
The report added that one of the candidates in the model search is Olivia Jordan, who finished runner-up to Pia Wurtzbach in Miss Universe in 2015.
The winner will be featured on the pages of Sports Illustrated popular Swimsuit issue. Chrissy Teigen, Kate Upton, and Esti Ginzburg are among those models are expected to visit the Philippines for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.
