A CCTV footage inside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport(NAIA) Terminal 1 was able to record Ralph Caballes Trangia and an older woman believed to be his mother at an immigration terminal at around 1:53 AM last September 19.
According to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) spokesperson Atty. Tonette Mangrobang, Trangia and his mother were able to to board their flights as there had been no lookout order issued against him.
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) earlier confirmed Trangia took a connecting flight from Taiwan straight to the United States.
“Mr. Trangia left Manila on Sept. 19 by BR 262, transited in Taoyuan Airport and connected (via) BR56 flight for the United States on the same day,” the TECO said.
For his part, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said Trangia’s mother may also be held liable for aiding in his escape.
