Manila, Philippines - Due to heavy downpour of rain brought by the Kiko, has caused floods and suspension of classes in Metro
Manila and nearby provinces.
In a bulletin update last 5 am on Tuesday, KIKO is already 345 kms east
of Casiguran, Aurora, heading west northwest at 15 kph. PAGASA said
"Kiko" might exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by
Wednesday evening.
Moderate to heavy rains and gusty winds are expected to experienced
within 300 kms diameter of the TD. Residents in Northern Luzon are
avised to be alert against possible flashfloods and landslides.
Signal number 1 is raised in the following areas:
1. Cagayan
2. Ilocos Norte
3. Apayao
4. Batanes
5. Babuyan Group of Islands
