Supreme Court to provide free rides for Bar examinees and personnel in case of bad weather

Manila, Philippines - Supreme Court to deploy buses for the Bar examinees that will kick-off on Sunday, November 5, 2017. The Supreme Court (SC) will deploy 10 buses for free rides to the examinees of the BAR 2017 in case of bad weather.

A memo was signed by Deputy Clerk of Court and Bar confidant Ma. Christina Layusa said the buses will be on a first come, first serve basis and exclusively for bar takers and duty personnel only.

Atleast 7,227 aspiring lawyers are set to take the bar wxam in all Sundays of November, till November 26.

The buses would be stationed at selected areas as early as 5:00 a.m and will leave at exactly 5:30 a.m. to transport the examinees to the UNiversity of Sto. Tomas (UST).

Here are the pick-up points as per The Inquirer report.

    Quezon City Memorial Circle (2 buses)
    Park and Ride – Lawton, Manila (1 bus)
    SC Compound – Taft Avenue, Manila (2 buses)
    Coastal Mall Terminal, Parañaque (2 buses) for Nov. 5, 19 and 26), 
   EDSA Magallanes Flyover, Pasay City (2 buses beneath the flyover) for Nov. 12
    Greenbelt and Glorietta – Ayala Center, Makati (2 buses)
    Marikina Sports Complex (1 bus)

Meanwhile all bar takers and SC personnels were advised to avoid Roxas Boulevard on the second day of examinations, slated on November 12, due to the ASEAN summit rerouting scheme.
