The new Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) Terminal 2 is set to start its operation on July 1, 2018, this would raise the airport's annual capacity to 12.5 million passengers.
The new terminal are incorporated with modern design with bits and pieces of local elements especially when you go around its interior design. If you take a look from floor to ceiling windows and a long skyroof that generously lights the whole place, to the concepts of waves.
It has 48 check-in counters that are expandable to 72, as well as provisions for seven passenger boarding bridges which could expand to 12 boarding bridges, serving a wide and narrow body aircraft.
