Manila, Philippines - Due to heavy rain poured in Metro Manila on August 11, Saturday, that causes flooding in low-lying areas like Marikini. Many people stranded in their houses and some areas affected by floods.
The singer and actress Alexa Ilacad is one of the affected celebrity "Please help us. Chest deep na yung baha. We're at Omakase, Gil Fernando st., San roque, Marikina. Safe naman kami dito sa 2nd floor ng building pero tumataas ng tumataas ang tubig," posted in her Twitter account.

Worried fans responded to the Tweet and gave an advised to the actress, but later on fans calm down as Alexa gave an update on Twitter, " I am now completely safe. I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH sa lahat
