Bais City Golden Lighthouse will mesmerize visitors for the upcoming Golden Charter Anniversary 2018, Schedule of Activities

Bais  City  will  commemorate  its  Golden  Charter Anniversary and  Annual Fiesta  on  September  9  and  10,  2018 respectively. Bais  City  became  a  Chartered City  on  September  9,  1968.  To  symbolize  the  twin  celebration  is  a  temporary lighthouse  which  is  constructed  at  the  center  of  the  ball  field. A lighthouse is  a guide to aerial and sea navigation. This temporary lighthouse
stands as a beacon of Hope for better things to come.

Many  festivities are lined up to make this year’s Charter Day and Fiesta Celebration  exceptionally  different. The celebration will  officially  start  on August 3,  2018  with  a  thanksgiving  mass  and
an opening  salvo  program and  fireworks display.  Street  dancing  will  follow  immediately after
the  program.

Bais City Golden  Charter Anniversary Schedule of Activities 2018 :

 Activities include Live  Bands,  Sports  Competition, Motocross  Sports  Competition, Air  Soft
Competition, Academic  Festival  of  Talents, Hip  Hop  Inter school  Competition, Volleyball Invitational  Games, Little  Mr.  and  Ms.  Bais  City,Agro-Fishery  and Industrial Fair, Dream Gay 2018, Hudyaka Competition and Miss Bais City 2018. To  make  the  affair  more colorful and exciting,  there  will be  a  Dinner Gala Fashion  Show and Various Exhibits-Photos,Cars  and  Motorcycles,Doll  and  Fan Collections, Antique  Wares, Memorabilia Religious  Ornaments,  Trade  Fair/Swap Night,  Flea  Market,etc.  

To add more life and fun  to the celebration these competitions are introduced: Jukebox King and Queen, Your Face Sounds Familiar and  Bais  City  Got  Talent,  and  the  MEV  Dance  Concert.
Other attractions  to  the celebration  are the  Mountain  Bike  Competition,  the  Remote  Control  Show  and Para Gliding Festival. A search for Outstanding Baisanon will commence and the awarding will be on  December  2018.  

Any  baisanon who  has  brought  honor  and pride  to  Bais  will be  recognized.   Fields  of  coverage  include  Politics  and  Government,  Culture  and the Arts, Education, Medicine and Public Health, Religion, Peace and Order, Social Services,  Science  and  Technology  and  Sports. Activities  will  be  held  at  the  Multi-purpose and Evacuation Center and the Ball field.

On  September  9,  there  will  be  a  civic  military  parade  around  the  city  and school bands

competition will follow after the parade. In the afternoon, there will be Palarong Pinoy.
