Netizens lauded Argentine police woman for offering breastfed to abandoned baby, she was promoted

An Argentine police officer has been promoted after a photo of her breast-feeding an abandoned baby at a hospital while in uniform went rounds online.

Officer Celeste Ayala cared the 6-month-old infant, which had reportedly been separated from its mother along with five of her siblings at the Sor Maria Ludovica children's hospital. The children were all malnourished and the little girl's cries said Ayala.


He's friend  Marcos took the photograph and posted it on Facebook last week, praising Ayala's great gestures of love. As of the posting the picture went viral and garnered at least 113,000 shares with hundreds of positive comments around the world, praising Ayala for such wonderful actions. 

"I want to make public this great gesture of love you had with this baby, whom you treated like a mother without a second thought, even though you didn't know him," Mr. Heredia wrote.
