University student strips down to her underwear while presenting thesis after short 'Shorts' comment from professor

A student from one of the prestigious university in the USA is making rounds online due to her courage of removing off her clothes in front of her professor and classmates while presenting her thesis.

The student was named Letitia Chai, she did it in response to her teacher's comment about the shorts she was wearing were too short. 

"When I got up to start, my professor said; Is that really what you would wear?" Chai said.

"I was wearing a long-sleeve blue button-down shirt and denim cut-offs. She, a white woman, continued:"Your shorts are too short," Chai added."

"She said I was making a statement by wearing my outfit. I told her that I sure as hell wouldn't change my statement to make her or anyone else feel more comfortable."

According to Chai there was one international male student agreed with the professor. It was then that Chai decided to leave the room, followed by the professor who allegedly told her what would her mother would think of her clothing, to which Chai allegedly replied. "My mom is a feminist, gender and sexuality studies professor. She's fine with my shorts."

Ms. Chai invited others to support her on the day of her actual presentation by stripping down to their underwear with her during her 15-minute address, writing on her Facebook.
