This video has gone viral in just a minute after posted in the Facebook page Gadget Addict. It could be seen in the video a lady driver of Hyundai van stop by an MMDA personnel for an illegal parking violation.
The dispute occur when the lady driver doesn't want to cooperate with the MMDA officers, asking of what was the violation. Shortly, a higher officer from MMDA calmly talk to the lady driver and explained her violation. The lady driver asked the officer of what is the rule prior to towing and the officer answered, they are implementing a five-minute rule.
WHAT IS THE FIVE-MINUTE RULE ILLEGAL PARKING OF THE MMDA?
If a vehicle is illegally parked and there's no driver, the enforcers will wait for five-minutes before calling in a tow truck to take away the vehicle.
If the driver arrives on time, they will be asked to hand over their license so a ticket can be issued and then they are told to move the vehicle.
According to the gadget-addict post, the reason why MMDA is asking to see the drivers license. To ensure the ticket is issued to the correct person and to make sure the driver actually has a license.
