When asked which position might Dingdong would run, Senatorial or House of Representative?
"Kung anong posisyon hindi ko alam but definitely yes tatakbo siya! Hayaan na anatin, ibigay natin sa asawa ko na mismo siya maglatag sa inyo kung tatakbo ba siya, ano posisyon, rerespetuhin ko na siya na magsabi sa inyo," said Marian.
Recent reports said Dingdong Dantes has expressed his desire to join the congressional race in Quezon City' District 2 in the 2019 elections.
Dingdong has been very vocal in his advocacies about environment and climate change issues, and the actor has been actively participating in the projects of Yes Pinoy Foundation as its founding chair. He also served as commissioner in the National Youth Commission from 2014 to 2016.
According to April 2018 Pulse Asia's pre-election survey, Dingdong was ranked between 20 and 25 with an approval rating of 16.8 percent.
