Hannahlei Cabanilla wins So You Think You Can Dance Season 15

The winner for the U.S. TV show So You Can Dance Season 15 finally announced on Monday night during the two-hour finale on Fox. An 18-year-old Filipino-American dancer Hannahlie Cabanilla was announced the winner. She bested three other finalists Jensen Arnold, Genessy Castillo, and Slavik Pustovoytov.  


Cabanilla will bring home $250,000 in cash and she will grace the cover of Dance Spirit magazine and appear in a guest role in the live adaption of "rent" on Fox in 2019.

All the Top 10 dancers from this season are scheduled to appear in the :So You Think You Can Dance" live tour, which kicks off Octoer 13 in Atlantic City, NJ. The tour includes two Bay Area stops: November 30 in San Jose at the City National Civic Center and December 5 in Santa Rosa at the Luther Burbank Center.

Cabanilla, a contemporary dancer from Anaheim Hills, Ca was praised by fellow Filipina and SYTYCD judge Vanessa Hudgens and three other judges during the first performance of the season's Top 10.
