Soon you might just see Maine Mendoza's acting skills. For all the beautiful things that happened to her life, Mendoza isn't new in trying out new things. From her successful career as Eat Bulaga host, she's also venturing into music and business. Recently she had a successful launching online with her own lipstick in collaboration with MAC, were sold out online in just one minute.
Maine appears to be interested in an Indie Film. In an interview with Pep, actor Jerald Napoles reveals a conversation with Maine. They were discussing his new movie, Nakalimutan Ko Nang Kalimutan Ka, which he stars in with Alex Gonzaga and Vin Abrenica.
Napoles had a previous conversation with Maine, sighting that the Eat Bulaga host is fit to the project he is making right now.
"Nabanggit ko ang script na ito kay Maine kasi during the process, I heard they were looking for a lead girl," he said.
" I think, yun talaga ang umpisa, hindi pa nga yata tapos ang script nun, parang naka-ilang revision na 'to noong makuwento ko ky Maine, parang first or second draft pa lang,"
"Humirit kasi siya, sabi niya, 'Pwede ba akong umarte sa mga ganyan, sa mga indie?' Sabi ko,Oo naman."
"Kung ikaw pa, hinihintay ka nga lang ng mga taong umarte. Ang alam ko, naghahanap ang pelikula."

Well, while Maine isn't officially working on an indie film, you can still expect to see her soon on the big screen. She's set to star alongside with Coco Martin in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Jak Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.
