Iloilo teacher wanted for installing spy cam in school restroom

Suspect remain at large and authorities are currently on the hunt for the Iloilo public high school teacher who allegedly installed a spy camera inside a restroom of female students.

In a report of Bombo Radyo, PO2 Vivian Alingalan, Deputy Commander of the Women and Children's Protection Desk of Alimodian Municipal Police Station, said that the suspect has stopped going to work at the Sinamay National High School.

The student found a camera after noticing a blinking light while she was peeing, ABS-CBN News reported. She

It could be seen on the video the face of the suspect while installing the camera. The teacher also allegedly instructed hi students to stand on the toilet bowl while peeing.

The police and the Department of Education is also investigating the incident, ABS-CBN news said.

The case has not been filed against the teacher but he could face charges for violating the Anti-Voyeurism and Anti-Child Abuse acts. He could also face administrative charges.
