Recently Atty. Larry Gadon gained attention on social media after several short clips showed him saying "Mga bobo" to student activists. However, the lawyer behind the impeachment of former Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno was asked by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to re-file his COC after submitting the wrong form.
Gadon has filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Friday, October 12, however he used the wrong form, Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez confirmed the issue as he facilitated Gadon's document at the filing area.

The Inquirer.net reported that Gadon used the old form which did not include the newly added item number 22. Prior to submitting his COC, Gadon is confident of winning the 2019 elections.
"Ang sambayanang Pilipino ay iboboto ako dahil hindi ako bobo at iboboto nila ako dahil hindi sila bobo."
