The next drawing will be on Tuesday, October 23 - a new world record that would surpass $1.586 billion Powerball drawing on January 13, 2016.

Mega Millions has already entered the historic high, but even it costs $2 to play the game, still chances of winning the jackpot aren't good.

According to Time, the chances of matching all six numbers and taking home the grand prize is one in 302.5 million.
