A Filipino actor Teejay Marquez is making a name in Indonesia as he joined the casts of the Indonesian remake drama series "Meteor Garden."

The 25-year-old Pinoy actor, dancer, and vlogger has started his acting career in 2009, appearing in ABS-CBN and GMA shows. Then, he started his Indonesian career in 2016, as he recalled that he has to go for a daily lesson to become fluent in the native tongue.

He earned his fame in Indonesia when one of his dubsmash video became viral. Since then his projects became more demanding and gained support from his Indonesian fans.
Recently Marquez joined the cast of "Siapa Takut Jatuh Cinta (STJC)," the Indonesian version of popular Taiwanese drama series "Meteor Garden."
He played Sean, one of the F4 members whose character portrayed similar to the original F4's "Xi Men" or Ken Chu. The STJC ran for eight months until Ocotber 2018. The teen actor revealed his feelings when he first met hi Indonesian co-stars.
"Noong nagsimula na mag-promo, gumawa na ako ng looktest, doon na nag-sink in na iba itong project ko ngayon, I knew it was going to be big kasi mga high end 'yung mga kasama ko."
Marquez is currently in the Philippines for the holidays but expected to continue his growing career in Indonesia.
