Kamuning footbridge a 'Stairway to Heaven'people might think twice before using

What do you think if you're planning to go on the other side of the road and see this kind of footbridge? Well, finally authorities had come into decision to postpone the opening of this foot bridge dabbed as "Stairway to Heaven."

Recently, this foot bridge constructed in Kamuning, Quezon City hooked the eyes of the people and went viral online. The bridge construction has a budget of PHP10 million (more than $189,000) with the steep angle and netizens described it with a short flat walkway connected down to the other side of the road.

Social media users started to mocked and expressed their concerns about the safety and convenience of the people. The footbridge has a dimension of nine meters (30ft) high, were selected people might would try the challenge. For sure pregnant women, children and elderly might find difficult to climb and may turn it back seeing this damn thing.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) finally answered the public concerns. Due to the design issue and modification, MMDA had to moved the opening before the year ends, which is originally scheduled to open the bridge for public November 15. 

As part of the renovation and new design, MMDA had to add some railings and additional landings, ABS-CBN reported.
