Bacolod city is one of the progressing city in the Philippines. Bacolod is a Cosmopolitan City and a melting Pot of cultures, known to many as the football capital of the Philippines. This year it was voted as the #1 Best Place to live in the Philippines by MoneySense Magazine.
However, before the year end a shocking post by one of the councilor of the city Jocelle Batapa is making the rounds online for the approval of the city's P2-billion supplementary budget for 2018.
"Disgusting! In a special session - SP of Bacolod approved tonight P2.035 Billion Supplemental Budget for 2018 on the very last working day of 2018!
"Aside from of all the savings that the city has, very evident is the 1.7B loan. With 1.74 Billion for infrastructure," Batapa wrote in her Facebook post.
Batapa was saddened about the swift decision of the committee to approved the budget, saying that the budget is from the people of Bacolod.
As of the writing, the social media post of Bacolod Councilor Jocelle Batapa has gained more than a hundreds shares with numbers of comments exchange.
