Time magazine this year recognized Filipina skateboarder Margielyn Didal as one of the 25 most influential teens for 2018. The Cebu pride brought home the gold medal in the women's skateboarding competition at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.
The 19-year-old admitted to Time that her parents is not supportive to her skate boarding sports, but now after her victory, she has her parents 100% support.
Those included to the list are actresses Millie Brown, Storm Reid, Kiernan Shipka, Joey King and Korean boy group NCT Dream. Other athletes on the list are French footballer Kylian and American snowboarder Chloe Kim.
