Fil-Canadian Army call out the father of viral Ateneo studen's Joaquin Montes for a one-on-one fight

A video went viral after a netizen call out for the father of the viral Ateneo Student's for a man-to-man match. In the video shared by a Facebook user Joseph Perez Otazu who having his vacation in the Philippines shared his disappointment to the father of Joaquin Montes.



Joseph Perez Otazu is a combat veteran army who got deployed in Afghanistan and now an instructor said that the parents of Montes should held accountable about his behavior.

“I don’t really blame the kid for that kind of behavior, I blame the parents for that,” Otazu said.

“It’s up to you as a parent to control your kids, teach your kids respect and alam mo naman yan kung if your kid is exhibiting that kind of behavior, it’s up to you to correct your kid,” he said.

Otazu said that he couldn't sleep after watching the viral video because he feels bad for the victim. Because of these, he challenged Montes's father and even showed his contact number.



“Mr. Montes if you are watching the video, I hope you do, I really hope you do, this is my offer to you. Obviously hindi mo tinuturuan properly ang mga kids mo, so this is what I’m gonna do to you, I’m challenging you into a fight, tayong dalawa, kung gusto mo sa harap pa ng kids mo,” he said.

“Name me the time, the place, I’ll be there,” he added.

He even offered a 100,000 pesos if he will loses the fight, however if he wins, Mr. Montes must apologize publicly for what their son's did to the victim.

"I have to put stop on this," he said.

He also offered a personal training to Joaquin's victim for a free-self defense lesson.

  1. Kung mag a apologized din lang sa harap ng mga tao, eh bakit pa mag papabugbog sa army, huwag na lang tanggapin yung hamon at mag public apologize na lang,kung alam nman walang panalo sa army hehehe

  2. so this is how people use their uniform to fix violence with violence? dude bullying or not as part of the army this civilians safe is your jurisdiction if its a treat of national security but you're stepping in the lines men. this is a police matter and its between the two families of the bully and the victim. back off.
