Filipina won PHP1M after winning UAE's best Nanny award

39-year-old Rosie Villa from Philippines was hailed as UAE's Best Nanny for 2018. Villa bested some other 41 nannies who were shortlisted for the award. The event marked the third year of the initiative of a fintech platform for migrants called ,rise'. 

The winner received a retirement fund worth 1,000,000 pesos to help her realized her dreams. Last year, the 45-year-old Filipina Melanie Manansala bagged the award.

Villa was down to tears after learning that she won the grand prize. Villa has been working in the UAE with over half a decade.
