The first Metro Manila subway project is underway with one common goal, to somehow soon could solve the worst traffic condition of the country.

The Project is said to be the flagship program of the Duterte administration's Build, Build, Build Program. Dotr secretary Arthur Tugade is asking public support as he acknowledge some challenges that would occur during the subway system's construction. Atleast it will take three years before it will partially operational for the first phase and another three years to complete all 15 stations.
To satisfy our excitement for the first subway construction in the country, DOTr released an images of the underground railway system.

The construction of the first three stations was recently awarded to the joint venture of Shimizu Corp., Fujita Corp., Takenaka Civil Engineering Co. Ltd and EEI Corp. The first three underground stations are in Quirino Highway, Tandang Sora and North Avenue.
