An asteroid with a mile wide in size with a moon of its own is expected to pass by earth on Saturday, May 25. Travelling at 48,000 mph, asteroid 1999 KW4 was discovered 20 years ago according to NASA.
The asteroid will pass as close as 3.2 million miles from earth, around 13 times the distance between the Earth and the moon.
Although the asteroid will not be visible to the naked eye, still NASA encourages amateur astronomers to try to spot it as it passes Earth.
