Lito Lapid to critics:Highschool graduate lang ako, hindi ako patalastas mag Englis, hindi ko nga lang maintindihan pero napag aaralan

Actor Lito Lapid, who is poised to make a senate comeback admits that he's hurt with the criticisms he has been receiving since 12 years as Senator and up to the present, after securing the Senate seat in the recently held midterm elections.

Lapid is included in the magic twelve of latest unofficial and partial canvassing for Senatorial race. He is currently at the 7th place with over 16 million votes based on the PPCRV's partial and unofficial tally.

However, Lapid explained in an interview that the issue since he enter to office of the Senate still the same. "Highschool graduate lang ako, hindi ako patalastas mag Englis, hindi ko nga lang maintindihan pero napag aaralan naman," he told during the interview with One News.

“12 years din ako naging Senador . ‘Yan pa rin ang issue sa akin, hindi raw marunong.” Lapid added.

Lapid also explained that the treatment is unfair for those celebrity politicians who wins an elective seat.

“Pagdating ng eleksyon puro artista ginagamit. Kapag may artistang naupo, binabatikos pa. Eh, syempre kami naman eh nasasaktan naman kami dahil ba sa hindi kami nakapag-aral ng college kamukha ko,” Lapid explained.

Lapid said that this is one of the hardest campaigns in his political life for not having any political source and administration endorsement. Lapid will also support the administration's program and planning to be part of the Senate's majority.
