The Chainsmokers' 2019 Manila concert has been canceled, the event organizer MMI Live had announced on Facebook post. The Manila concert has initially scheduled on August at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“Live Nation, MMI Live and The Chainsmokers regret to announce that due to unforeseen production circumstances, World War Joy Asia Tour in Manila on August 15, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena is cancelled,” the statement reads.
Live Nation have yet to announce if the duo will still push through with the World War Joy Asia Tour.
It has also been reported that their Singapore concert on August 21 has been cancelled.
The duo composed of American Djs and producers Alex Pall and Drew Taggart are set to perform in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines and more.
Their song from 2016 which features american pop singer Halsey hit over one billion streams on Spotify and YouTube.
