Two F-15SG fighter jets were deployed to escort incoming Scoot flight from Cebu to Singapore yesterday.
In a Facebook post, Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen said the bomb threat turned out to be a "false alarm," However, that Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will "takes every threat as real and seriously, until proven otherwise."
"The RSAF will stay ever vigilant," he added.
The threat turned out to be false alarm and all 144 passengers and crew on the aircraft has disembarked the plane safely and went through security checks upon arrival around 4:50om, The Straits Times reported.
