Grab is now accepting pets aboard in new app service

Manila, Philippines - You can now ride with your pet via Grab's new in-app service, following to LTFRB's memorandum circular 2019-019 which allows pets to be transported in public utility vehicles.

Grab Philippine has added special services in its transportation option where passengers with pets can ride the vehicle under GrabPets.

Each GrabPet unit is equipped with crates to carry your pets to make the ride safe and comfortable, but best of all deals, pet passengers will be insured.

They are accepting dogs, cats, turtles, hamster, rabbits and fish as passengers, providing they are accompanied by human.

However, pets Must follow the following requirement below:

*Dogs: Leashed or crated with muzzle

*Cats, Rabbits, Guines Pigs, Hamster: Crated

*Fish: Must be in sealed bag or closed fish tank.

*Turtles: Must be in a closed container.

Each GrabPet's unit is provided with waterproof cargo liners and pet barriers, but pet owners are expected to muzzle or leash their pets.

Pet owner must be fully responsible for loading and unloading pets. Please make sure your pet does not cause concern or risk to the driver during the ride.

Only one large pet or two medium pets are allowed and accompanied by a maximum of 4 persons.

Pets infected with fleas or parasites are not allowed to ride.
